About Me

Hi!

Hi!  My name is Sarah.  I’m originally from Upstate New York, but now make my home in Massachusetts.  I have a great husband and two adorable boys.  I am also a librarian, having earned my MLIS from Simmons College in 2015.  I have worked as a Children’s Librarian, a Teen Librarian, and am now the Head of Reader Services in my public library.  I absolutely love my job.  There is a lot going on in my life, but I read a lot.  Probably too much.  I occasionally watch some television or more likely a movie, so I may comment on those too…  but really, I’m addicted to books.

I actually started this blog in 2010, for the sole purpose of keeping better track of the books I read.  I needed an outlet – somewhere to get the book and the thoughts they provoked out of my head.  This has become the perfect venue for that.  It is especially rewarding to connect with someone new over a book we may have both read.

Now, to free up space on this blog – I have created Sarah Reads Too Much’s Completed Challenges to keep track of – yep, you guessed it – challenges I have completed (because I do love me a reading challenge!).  I want to keep pages open for current challenges, and as I finish them – I will move them to a post in this new blog.

Full Disclosure:

It should be noted that no matter how I acquire the book I am talking about, I am never financially compensated for my reviews.

Review Policy:

I am always accepting books for review.  At this point, I very rarely accept books for review.  It feels too much like an assignment, and I strongly prefer to read at my leisure.

  1. I have a question from one daycare provider to another….

I have a child here that has severe emotional issues. She lies, steals, hits, cries, etc. I want to be a positive influence in her life but seriously, she is SO hard to deal with. Any suggestions?
