Book Review: "Find Momo" by Andrew Knapp

This book is freaking adorable.  Momo is a beautiful border collie, and his owner takes tons of pictures of him.  Only, these photos are not the typical “look at how cute my dog is” photo (although I bet he does have plenty of those as well).  No, Momo is hiding in these photos and you have to find him.  It is like a real-life Where’s Waldo? except you are looking for a gorgeous dog instead.  These photos are something on their own – interesting scenes or landscapes that are nice and enjoyable to look at.  Then you add in the fun of, where is that dog?  It isn’t always as easy as you’d expect!

I went through this book with my two sons, and they loved it too.  We made it a game at first – who could find Momo first?  But the elder seemed to have a bit of an edge on his younger brother, so the game changed to taking turns for first guess on each page.  It was really a lot of fun for all of us – and now we are looking forward to Momo’s next book, Find Momo: Coast to Coast, due out later this spring.

Psst….  if you really get stuck finding Momo, there is an answer key in the back.  🙂
